Lochlabs Limited was incorporated in the year 2013 with core mandate of supply of non-pharma medical products.

The company was founded under the visionary leadership of the late Dr. Silas Radet, whose foresight and commitment to advancing healthcare in Kenya more so in diabetes care, laid the foundation for its establishment. Dr. Silas Radet was highly instrumental in strengthening diabetes care within the Kenyan health sector. He played a significant role in creating awareness on the importance of embracing self-monitoring in diabetes management, championing patient empowerment and proactive disease control. His advocacy for accessible and reliable diagnostic solutions shaped the company’s strategic focus and continues to influence its growth trajectory.

We have engaged in total quality services to ensure our esteemed customers get timely, cost effective and efficient services. We offer a broad range of diagnostic products for convenient and reliable testing used in hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and doctors’ offices as well as for self-testing at home. Most of our products are portable or hand held and user friendly.

We are fully registered company and recognized as importers of medical devices products under the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, a body that regulates the Practice of Pharmacy and the Manufacture and Trade in drugs, medical devices and poisons in Kenya.

As at the year 2026 we are turning 13 years, we take pride of ourselves as among the key icons in the Kenyan medical devices market through our contribution to the healthcare sector by availing quality global diagnostics with a local touch and especially in the diabetes care. Over years, we have made progressive strides to command a substantial market share on diabetes care medical devices and In-vitro diagnostics for both dry and wet Chemistry.

We are known in the region as the suppliers of Diabetes Care products and mostly our flagship product; blood glucose monitoring system (Exactive Vital BGM) and other related laboratory Medical diagnostics.

In 2018 we re-focused to pursue 75% of our strategy, resources, capacity building and market development to diabetes care. This has since shown a positive trajectory ever since inception.
