Today, the world marks World Diabetes Day, a global event dedicated to raising awareness, empowering individuals, and strengthening global commitment to diabetes care. This year feels even more significant because the theme — “Diabetes and Well-Being” — speaks directly to the real everyday experiences of people living with diabetes.

This theme goes beyond glucose readings. It highlights how diabetes affects how people live, work, and feel — and with the 2025 focus on “Diabetes and the Workplace”, the world is being challenged to create supportive environments where people spend most of their time. True well-being must be felt at home, at work, and in the community.
